Plumbers also inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain plumbing fixtures in heating, water and drainage systems. Plumbing college graduates can also go into the construction field and find success. Recently, plumbers have even become more involved in the design process. Their knowledge of codes and the operation of plumbing systems can cut costs for the builder. Plumbers constitute one of the largest construction occupations and since not enough people are seeking training, job opportunities should be excellent in the coming years.
