Airframe & Powerplant (Associate's Degree)
Airframe and Powerplant Technicians, often called A&P's, are the technicians who keep aircraft in safe flying condition. They are trained to service, repair and overhaul virtually all aircraft components and systems. A&P technicians must complete specialized training and pass Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification tests. Certified technicians find rewarding career opportunities working for commercial airlines, aerospace manufacturing companies, general aviation companies, and government agencies.
