  • Advanced Fashion Design & Merchandising Technology (Associate's Degree)
    The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program in Advanced Fashion Design & Merchandising Technology, in addition to having a Liberal Studies (General Education) component, develops students' fashion design and apparel production skills, as well as gives them a complete understanding in computer-aided fashion design, and computer textiles.

    The objective of the Certificate in Basic Design program is to provide a shorter program which allows the student to develop fundamental skills needed to enter the fashion industry at an entry level.     The objective of the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design degree program is to help students attain a fundamental grounding in fashion design, including an introduction to the theory and practice of tailoring, draping, pattern drafting, construction and sewing, fashion illustration and creative design. These skills are enhanced through computerized pattern making and design hardware and software systems.
